Skrim Sapphire Shifters is a color-shifting watercolor set with 4 full pans, handmade in Germany and artist-grade — four shades that capture the magic of changing color.
Colors:
- Cosmic Cascades – a green color shift with a touch of the cosmos
- Sunset Serenade – purple to brownish red, warm and rich
- Midnight Mirage – dark blue to purple, with an air of mystery
- Ocean's Royalty – a green-gold shift with the ocean's majesty
Applied thinly on white paper the shift can appear slightly greyish — the colors show their full magic in richer washes.
Made for: watercolor painting and illustration, calligraphy and hand lettering, wedding invitations and envelope addressing, card making and papercraft, journal and planner spreads, mixed media, and fantasy and celestial art. Works on white, colored and black paper, on wood and stone, and over dry acrylic.

How to use
How to use
These watercolors work best when you add accents to your watercolor art,
especially when using black paper. Let the water soak in for about 5 to 10
minutes before you start painting. Watercolor paper with 300g density or above is recommended to use.

These are so gorgeous in person! Adds the most lovely shimmer. Takes a minute to get the brush super pigmented, but once on there its amazing.

I've bought several cheaper versions of colour shifting paint and it's never colour shifting...this stuff is. It's stunning and I will definitely buy more. A little goes a long way too.

These paintings are beautiful, I love the colour shift in them as you move around the picture. They look great on white or black watercolour paper and I’ve ordered some more of them, in different colours.

Gorgeous watercolors in a quality that's unsurpassed! I'm getting such new and unique paintings. Excellent experience using these once I figured out to let the color ripen with water. These are the smoothest paints that go a long way. I highly recommend Skirm watercolors

Comme dans la description de l'article, cette aquarelle appliquée sur papier blanc donne une couleur plutôt grisâtre. Par contre, si vous l'utiisez pour rehausser une aquarelle déjà réalisée, c'est très bien. Les coloris sont jolis et fort scintillants, mais contrairement à ce qu'on pourrait penser à la vue de la présentation des articles, il y a deux pastilles vertes, une bleu-mauve et une rose-mauve, qui ne donnent pas l'effet caméléon changement de couleur annoncé. Bref, ce n'est pas aussi "bleu" ni "magique" qu'espéré, mais c'est très joli tout de même.
Amazing colour shifting paints. Just a drop of water left on the pan to activate the shimmer and you're ready to paint stunning paintings, or just use it to add embellishments! I love it! X

Die Farben sind sehr schön, wenn das Licht reflektiert, dann glitzern sie auch wunderbar. Wenn es aber zu keiner Reflektion kommt, dann sehen die Farben eher grau aus. Ich hatte da einfach eine andere Erwartung. Trotzdem bin ich mit den Farben im großen und ganzen zu Frieden und werde meine Bilder damit veredeln.
Very beautiful and great quality watercolours! Lovely dense metallic coverage and they really do ''shift'' colour depending on the direction of the light. I am new to metallic watercolours so I am just experimenting and trying them out at the moment but they are gorgeous and lovely to use.
