Made for: watercolor painting and illustration, calligraphy and hand lettering, wedding invitations and envelope addressing, card making and papercraft, journal and planner spreads, mixed media, and fantasy and celestial art. Works on white, colored and black paper, on wood and stone, and over dry acrylic.
Usage tip: Add a few drops of water, let the colors sit for 5–10 minutes, then mix until creamy. Best results on 300 gsm or cotton watercolor paper.

How to use
How to use
These watercolors work best when you add accents to your watercolor art,
especially when using black paper. Let the water soak in for about 5 to 10
minutes before you start painting. Watercolor paper with 300g density or above is recommended to use.

They are marvelous!
I've only been painting with watercolor for about a year. Skrim watercolors peaked my interest to add another layer to my painting's. After I received them, I had no idea how to us them. So I went on youtube to learn. I use them with every painting now and have gone back to my old painting's and added highlights! I am really enjoying them!
Wunderbare Metallic-Farben, die eine tolle Pigmentierung haben, wunderbar glänzen. Vor allem das Metalloid-Set deckt richtig gut. Ich bin mega happy, dass ich nach über einem Jahr endlich die Skrim-Farben bestellt habe.
I love these watercolors so much! They are pigmented and beautiful. The only issue I have is with the Royal Shifters. If you look at my photo of the swatches I did not label a couple of them because I am unable to determine what colors they are. On your website it shows the Royal Shifters as having a greenish Celeste and a blueish Viridi and I failed to distinguish the two on my swatches. They are both kind of coral looking. Nonetheless, I love all of them so it’s a 10/10 for me.
I haven’t had a chance to try out my new paints but I have a project in mind for them! They are beautiful!

I have bought these for my daughter, for her birthday, she hasnt had them yet but I am sure she will love them as they are really beautiful.
Skirm watercolors are wonderful! With pigments that have depth beyond amazing in that painting becomes an experience of color experiments and effects not seen elsewhere. Others may boast metallic colors but do not have the patina and dimensionality of Skirm colors. I'm using them everyday. The tin holds more paint than expected due to the lush texture of the pigments! Worth their weight in gold..
Had a small issue. When emailing company they were quick with response and solution. Just waiting for the replacement. Will definitely buy from them again. Thank you for making it easy. Will revisit once I use the paints.

Big beautiful pans full of sparkling, shimmering paint. Lovely to work with. Rich, creamy paints waiting to be put down and move. Would be perfect rating but there are no color names listed. I have no idea the name of the color I'm using.
