Skrim The Jewels is a shimmer watercolor set with 6 full pans, handmade in Germany and artist-grade. It comes in a professional watercolor box for secure storage and easy organization.
Colors: Emerald Gleam, Amethyst Veil, Citrine Glow, Sapphire Mist, Pink Tourmaline and Fire Opal.
Each shade offers delicate shimmer, smooth flow and rich pigmentation — a soft, radiant glow on both light and dark paper.
Made for: watercolor painting and illustration, calligraphy and hand lettering, wedding invitations and envelope addressing, card making and papercraft, journal and planner spreads, mixed media, and fantasy and celestial art. Works on white, colored and black paper, on wood and stone, and over dry acrylic.

How to use
How to use
These watercolors work best when you add accents to your watercolor art,
especially when using black paper. Let the water soak in for about 5 to 10
minutes before you start painting. Watercolor paper with 300g density or above is recommended to use.

Very creamy for full coverage or watercolour for a small shimmer. I use it to complement other mediums
I used Skrim on 250gm, not watercolour paper. The paint went on well with excellent pigmentation and I could lift off parts with a damp brush to simulate shadows with the dark paper showing through. I bought the 4 jewels of the sky set and successfully mixed paints to create more colours. The shine is difficult to capture on camera although some sparkles are shown. I really do love these paints and will use them for metal, birds shimmering colours, stars etc. A multitude of applications can be had and these are the best metallic paints I have used.

I always painted with acrylic paints but these water colors are fabulous I hope it show the beauty in my photo
Lovely to use and looks great
I only recently got this set together with the Mother of Pearls set. I have yet to do a project with these but I have made colour charts and am very happy with how the colours are turning out on both white and black paper.
I really like these watercolors! They are so metallic and sparkly in the sun! 😍 Great for details.

Beautiful metallic Watercolors! I will be ordering more.
The paints are very pigmented, which is great for metallics. I had an issue with my pans drying weird and becoming crystalised but customer support was very helpful, this was likely due to not leaving the paints to dry the full 24 hrs before closing the palette, however I was sent a replacement set. I am very happy with my experience so far and these paints will last a long while.

Gorgeous watercolors in a quality that's unsurpassed! I'm getting such new and unique paintings. Excellent experience using these once I figured out to let the color ripen with water. These are the smoothest paints that go a long way. I highly recommend Skirm watercolors
I used the metalics on a woodburning piece I did and the shimmer was beautiful. It worked wonderfully on wood and did not bleed over the burned lines. The shimmering colors added a lot of sparkle to the piece.
